Two exciting updates from Iowa:

Lexi Hughes was promoted in January to Senior Admission Counselor for Diversity Recruitment & Outreach.

Sarah Overbergen welcomed her beautiful daughter Esme in November.

Mercy College of Health Sciences is excited to welcome Tara Soma, our newest admissions counselor who began in January. Tara comes to us from University of Houston and is already a great addition to our team!

Kirkwood hired a new Admission Advisor named Rebecca VanderHeiden in January. She studied agriculture at Kirkwood before graduating from Iowa State and was also a student ambassador at both during her time as a student.

Jen Hinton is the new Assistant Director of Transfer Admission at Drake University. Welcome, Jen!

Iowa College Aid has hired Danielle Sampson to be part of their Community Engagement team. Danielle is responsible for the AmeriCorps Student Leader and Summer FAFSA associate positions. Previously she served as a College and Career Transition Counselor (CCTC) at Eastern Iowa Community College for two years. Before that, Danielle was a school counselor at Camanche High School for nine years. We're excited for her to join our team!
