2021-2022 Iowa ACAC College Fairs

The Iowa ACAC Executive Board and College Day/College Night Committee appreciate the partnership and hard work of our site hosts in setting up these programs in these uncertain times. We trust their judgement and stand with them regarding any decisions their school or district needs to make regarding hosting the fairs.  We are asking college/university attendees to let site hosts know in ample time if they are unable to attend due to COVID-related issues.

Site hosts have been asked to:

  • Keep Iowa ACAC posted on any changes to COVID protocols in their local community, school, and site location.
  • Notify attendees 1 week prior to the fair of a cancellation (we understand these changes can happen at the last minute, but early notification is appreciated, if possible).
  • Contact attendees 3-4 days prior to the fair to confirm their intention to host the fair.
  • Share changes to protocols or site requirements with Iowa ACAC, so we can assist in spreading the word via our website, listserv and social media.
  • Provide the option to send or display literature at a table if a registered attendee is unable to attend at the last minute.
