The Iowa ACAC Professional Development and Practices Committee is excited to share that we will hold, once again, Virtual Winter ACU (Admission Counselor University) on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 9 am to 12 pm.  We had a terrific turnout and response last year, so we're bringing it into our regular rotation for new hires in your admission office and those wanting a review or a fresh perspective. 

Since Winter ACU is a short virtual opportunity, it’s an accessible experience for both new and veteran admissions professionals alike. While the content is geared towards newer admissions professionals (1 year or less), it also serves as a timely and cost-friendly refresher for veteran admissions professionals. The event mirrors in-person Summer ACU in terms of programming, but brings new perspectives and presenters, with some new updated content. Attendees can expect overviews of recruiting best practices, travel tips and tricks, and more.
