Hosting a Transfer Fair - Tips for Community Colleges

The Iowa ACAC Transfer Committee and 4-year institutions value serving your students by sharing transfer options, building relationships, and helping them plan early and efficiently for their personal transfer academic path.  Help us help you and your community college students by hosting a Transfer Fair.

• 4-year schools have limited staff so it can very challenging when two Iowa Community Colleges have transfer fairs on the same day. Please share dates as soon as possible and as dates are scheduled for travel planning and coverage purposes to avoid duplicate dates.
• Include the Community College Transfer Fair Contact for registration along with date/time in your transfer listserv promotion.
• Refreshments, hospitality room, and/or meals not required but appreciated.
• Promote your transfer fair to your campus widely via email, social media, digital signage, faculty announcements etc.
